Founded in 1982 by Elaine Cecconi and Anna Simone, this is one of Canada's longest-running design practices, with work across retail, corporate, hospitality and residential interiors - including a hand in roughly 75 residential communities across the Greater Toronto Area.

Burdifilek
Toronto
Founded in 1993 by Diego Burdi and Paul Filek, Burdifilek is a retail-design specialist whose work includes Holt Renfrew, Neiman Marcus and Joe Fresh stores. The studio has picked up multiple Retail Design Institute awards for turning brand identity into physical space.

Founded in 1995 by Jeffrey Douglas, this residential-focused studio describes its approach as being "lifestyle interpreters" - building interiors around how a specific household actually lives rather than a signature look.
