Beata Heuman
London
Founded in 2013 by Swedish-born designer Beata Heuman, the studio is known for colour-confident, idiosyncratic interiors - pattern and playful furniture handled with a sure hand rather than caution. Heuman won House & Garden's inaugural Interior Designer of the Year award in 2018, and the studio now runs its own homeware line, Shoppa, alongside residential commissions.

Helen Green Design
Chelsea, London
One of Britain's longer-running luxury practices, founded in 2002 by the late Helen Green. The studio's work spans listed London townhouses, country estates and hotel interiors, with a consistent emphasis on interiors that read as liveable first and luxurious second - a harder balance than it sounds.
